This is one of those questions that gets in the way of having fun and being your own boss while running your very own business, but it is one of the most important questions you'll be faced with before you take that leap of faith into business ownership. Do you have what it takes ? It is easy to answer this question with a simple yes, while you're creative juices are flowing and you're thinking of all of the great ideas you have to make your business successful, but you know as well as I do that it takes much more than a great idea for a business to make it in this world. That is why I have put together this self assessment quiz to help you honestly evaluate your motivation for starting an online business and it will also possibly encourage you to closely examine your strengths and weaknesses.
1. How often do you reach your personal and career goals? How do you react if you are late for a deadline or simply do not complete tasks/goals at all?
2. Think of a time when you had to do whatever it took to fulfill a promise or to complete a goal. Would you go to similar lengths to fulfill the same task or promise if you were the boss and were running your own business? Would you be able to tell your family that you have to work this weekend to meet a deadline?
3. Would you rather concentrate on one project at a time or do you shine with many projects while searching for more?
4. Do you work best with an impossible deadline looming or do you prosper with more time than you think you need? How do you react when forced to work at a pace that is unnatural to your style?
5. Do you have faith that you can succeed at anything that you set your mind to? If not, what is standing in your way and what needs to be done to fix it?
6. Do you work better if you're by yourself or surrounded by people?
7. How do you envision your life five years down the road regardless of whether you start your own business or not? Can you imagine what life will be like in that time with or without the business?
8. If you make a decision that turns out to be wrong , how well do you recover? Do you admit that you made an error and accept responsibility? Do you correct it yourself or look to someone else to do the work?
9. How is your energy level? Do you work in short fast spurts or are you slow and steady?
10. What is the main reason you want to start your online business? Be as honest as possible with yourself.
Starting your online business requires self confidence, wisdom, and the energy to continuously plug away day after day. You must keep in mind that your hard work will pay off in the end and will result in your goal. Always remember a positive attitude is the first step on the road to success!

Easy Ways to Earn Extra Cash Online
Easy Ways to Earn Extra Cash Online
Here are some ideas that can help you earn some quick cash with very little effort.
The amount you can make with these sites are by no means earth shattering, but if you are ever in need of some extra cash, these are your best opportunities.
1. Read Emails – Recommended Site: Inbox Dollars
Members will be sent paid e-mails that are embedded with individual links to a host of websites. You will be required to follow the links and check out the corresponding websites.
Such work does not pay generously. But by giving away a few seconds of your life in exchange for some real cash, and that wouldn’t be a bad thing at all! You're online anyway, so why not make the best of it.
2. Take Surveys – Recommended Site: Ipsos iSay
This is one of the most popular ways to make money online. The popularity of paid surveys should not surprise you as the market is driven by demand.
Manufacturers and companies are always interested in knowing how their products and services fair in the market, and they are always ready to pay decent money to research companies and gather this information.
The market research companies, in turn, will pay you for offering feedback. The continued explosion of Internet only serves to expand this market further, and make paid survey work available more frequently.
Naturally, their popularity attracts scams. You will have to be vigilant to look out for legitimate survey sites.
3. Complete Offers – Recommended Site: BashBound
Reward programs or GPT (stands for Get Paid To) programs that pay members for doing a variety of tasks.
The to-do list there can be quite comprehensive, but it covers most of the things that you have already been doing online in one form or another. Anything from taking surveys, visiting websites, and reading emails, shopping online, watching videos, and much more.
Imagine these GPT sites as a form of broker. They first deal with their advertisers with commitment on some parameters to be delivered (like to attract a certain level of traffic).
By cranking up the number, the GPT site makes good of their deals and will be paid generously by the advertisers, which is why they're happy to pay you if you help them accomplish their objectives.
4. Play Games – Recommended Site: Cash Dazzle
If you haven't heard the story of Ansche Chung, she became a millionaire by playing Second Life, an online game and believe it or not, her story isn't the only story of people making a fortune from playing online games.
It soon could be your turn!
There are plenty of online game sites such as Cash Dazzle and Second Life. If you are still wondering how the virtual money you earned from playing online games can help you financially in the real world, let me just say that the virtual capital can be traded for real cash.
5. CashBack Shopping – Recommended Site: QuickRewards
If you shop online, you’d be foolish not to use a site that gives you cash back for shopping through them.
I mean, if you’re going to buy something anyway, you may as well go through a channel that gets you some of your money back.
6. Get Paid for Being Online – Recommended Site: Gomez PEER
Yep, this is real! There are sites that pay you for being online.
These sites help big companies improve the performance of their website by having you install software on your computer, then tracking your activities when you are on those sites.
The data gathered helps those companies adjust their websites to make them better. They don’t pay much, but then again, once you install their software, you really don’t have to do anything else.
The amount you can make with these sites are by no means earth shattering, but if you are ever in need of some extra cash, these are your best opportunities.

2. T-Shirts- Have you ever imagined having your own clothing line? How about going to the super market and seeing someone wearing a t-shirt you created? I couldn't imagine it either, until it happened! Me and my friends are always coming up with catchy phrases and one liners, I never thought about putting it on a t-shirt, but boy I'm glad that I did! Whether you sell no-brand, big-brand or custom-brand t-shirts, you can set up your very own ecommerce store accessible by customers all over the world in just minutes. The great part is that you get to use your imagination and creativity to create an online business. It's so much fun, there's nothing more satisfying than being able to create and design your own custom made shirt. The online options are as endless as your imagination. Get started today and create your online store that sells your jokes on a T-shirt! Here's some websites to help get you on your way to being the envy of your friends, let your inner designer rule with these cool sites: www.shopify.com , www.spreadshirt.com, www.customink.com or www.cafepress.com
3.Create an online store- Selling online is useful if you have a niche item that wont attract enough business to make it in a physical location, but of course online stores for everyday items aren’t going anywhere, either. If you aren’t particularly web-savvy or don't have the time to bother maintaining a website, you can set up a store on a site like CafePress or eBay (for a fee). Otherwise, you can hire someone to design a website for you or make your own. Related: www.cafepress.com, www.amazon.com
4. Paid Reviews- Invite people to submit their product, service or website for a paid review. This means they pay a fee and you write an article about whatever they submitted. A paid review is a promise that I would write an honest review about the subject – I would highlight both good and bad points. The challenge, if this method is relevant to your growth stage, is to create a website where you can command a price for paid reviews that makes it worthy of your time. Until your traffic is significant, charging more than $50 for a review is unrealistic, so you need to build your website asset first.
5. Sell Domain Names- Domain names are valuable internet properties and some people actually make a pretty good living off of buying and selling them. Since short, or straightforward domain names have already been mostly grabbed up, you can also get lucky buying domain names that are random acronyms, as you never know when a company with those exact initials will decide to set up a website. For more info, read How to Buy a Cheap Domain Name. Related: www.Godaddy.com or www.1and1.com
6. Affiliate Marketing- This is one of my favorite ways to make money for promoting someone else’s products or services and you don't have to carry any inventory. Affiliate advertisements are usually incorporated into your website/blog/page via linked articles (great when your content is strong and compelling), product-placement videos, or, less and less commonly, banner ads. If necessary, you can also become an affiliate marketer without a website (by posting videos on YouTube containing links to the product, for example). Check out a site like Commission Junction for possible products and services.
7. Social Media- There are plenty of companies interested in what you are doing online and how you spend your time and some of these companies will even pay you for this time. If you have a social media account, try out Klout. This company tracks your social media usage, determines how big and what type of audience you draw based on the subject matter of your updates and posts. Using this information, you’re qualified to receive free items, tickets, etc. Check their website often to find ways of earning free stuff by doing what you’re already doing online.
Adfly is a service that shortens links. Whenever you want to share a link on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or your own website it puts a 5 second ad before it takes you to the page you are linking to. The cool thing is that with Twitter and Instagram, you need to shorten your links anyway- so why not get paid at the same time?
8. Sell on Online Stores- If you have anything you want to sell, then EBay is the place you need to seriously consider doing it first. If you’re willing to grind through the process of building a reputation, you’ll be rewarded with many privileges. If you start getting too big for EBay or decide you want to try a different flavor, Amazon has a marketplace too. I personally prefer using Amazon because I can depend on their shipping, and trust their reviews. Related: www.shopify.com, www.ebay.com, www.amazon.com
9. Blogging- You don't have to have your own Web site, or install blogging software, or even figure out how to set up the advertising. At Blogger you can set up a blog for free in less than five minutes without knowing a thing about web design, and Blogger even automates setting up Google AdSense so you can make money off your blog by displaying ads and getting paid when people click on the ads. You can also you chitika which is like AdSense but easier to get approved for advertising and you don't have to wait for the application process. To make more money from it, set up an affiliate program (see below) for books, music, etc., and insert your affiliate links whenever you refer to those items. You'll have to get a lot of traffic to become a six-figure blogger, but pick an interesting topic, write well, tell all your friends, and you're off to a good start.

10. Sell Stock Photos- This is a good way to make money. Since we all search for stock photos by keyword, your work will be just as good as everyone else’s, meaning you should submit any photo you think is good. Once it has posted, the work is done, and while you won’t make much per sale, having a stock of photos posted can mean making a nice monthly income with very little upkeep. - If you receive a lot of traffic, you might want to do cost-per-click advertising, which doesn’t earn you much per click but works on the fact that the more number of visitors you have will build your revenue.
- If you have very strong content, you might want to do cost-per-acquisition advertising, which makes you a good commission (either a fixed amount or a commission, depending on what you’ve pre-agreed to) every time a visitor on your site makes a purchase with your affiliate company
